Dr. Baik attended the AT Still University/ Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2005. He underwent training at Brown University (Family Medicine Internship), St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY (General Surgery), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA (General Surgery), University of Miami (Cardiothoracic Surgery) and at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington (Minimally Invasive Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery). He has been with Cancer Treatment Centers of America, now part of City of Hope, as a thoracic surgeon since 2014. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (Chair of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Section 2021-2023), American College of Surgeons, American Society of Clinical Oncology (served as a member of the QOPI Steering Group) and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons. He currently lives in Libertyville, IL with his wife and two daughters.
