Shana Krstevska, MD, is a diplomate of the American board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She completed a fellowship in Movement disorders with Dr.Peter LeWitt at Wayne State University. Senior Staff Neurologists at Henry Ford Health, Movement Disorders. She received her medical degree and Neurology training at Wayne State University. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State School of Medicine
She is the Director of integrative neurology empowering patients to take leadership in their health and wellbeing incorporating traditional and complementary treatments. She is actively involved in clinical trials and has been a Principal investigator for many national trials. She has been a member of the Parkinson’s Study group, and NET-PD. She has presented nationally and internationally. Her clinic practice emphasizes movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease and tremor; she additionally participates in clinical research within her practice. She has been actively involved in teaching residents and medical students from various institutions through the years and has spoken at numerous Parkinson’s disease support groups in Michigan. She serves on the advisory board for the Michigan Parkinson Foundation and past chair of the advisory board. She received a physician of the year award in 2006 for the north-east region Henry Ford Health medical group.
