Dr. Nashwa Khogali-Jakary (Dr. Jakary), is a Physician and Partner at CarePoint Internal Medicine, a private medical practice in Troy, Michigan. Her practice is affiliated with several healthcare systems in Michigan including CoreWell Health and Henry Ford West Bloomfield.

 

Dr. Jakary earned her Doctoral degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Michigan State where she was Chief Medical Resident and candidate for Resident of the Year. She has an MBA from Baker College; an undergraduate degree in Food Science/Human Nutrition from Michigan State University. She also completed a 2-year Certificate in Population Health & Health Equity from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine, In addition to her medical achievements, Dr. Jakary has extensive business leadership experience. She has served on several Non-profit organizations’ Board of Directors including the United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

 

Dr. Jakary has extensive collegiate teaching experience at Baker College, Davenport College, Lansing Community College; and has also served as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty Member at Michigan State University.

 

Dr Jakary is passionate about comprehensive patient care with a core focus on Longevity Health and Lifestyle Medicine. She developed and implemented a comprehensive Lifestyle Medicine lecture series, sharing her expertise with the broader community; and has extensive experience in shared-medical-appointments within the scope of her practice.
