Myral Robbins DO, FAAFP, FACOFP
Myral R. Robbins, D.O., FAAFP, FACOFP is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MSUCOM). As a student, she served as Student Council President and founding member of the Council of Student Council Presidents. She subsequently served the MSUCOM Alumni Board as its President. Dr. Robbins is board certified in Family Medicine and was awarded a fellowship by both the AAFP and the ACOFP. She is a graduate of the AOA/OUCOM Heritage Foundation National Health Policy Fellowship and the MSUCOM Faculty Development Fellowship.
Dr. Robbins is a past-president of the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians (MAOFP) and the Michigan Osteopathic Association. She represented MOA and MAOFP as a member of the “Primary Care Initiative for a Healthier Michigan”. She has served as a delegate from Michigan to the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) House of Delegates for over 30 years. She was a member of the AOA Bureau of Clinical Education and Research and a steering committee member of the AOA Clinical Assessment Program. Dr. Robbins is a past Medical Director of Michigan Peer Review Organization (MPRO).
Dr. Robbins was the founding Program Director of the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency at Kalamazoo Center for Medical Sciences, now WMed, in Kalamazoo MI. She has been active in the osteopathic profession at the state and national level including serving on committees related to quality improvement and medical education. Dr. Robbins is recognized for her expertise as a medical educator and has been called upon for issues regarding health policy and medical quality improvement.
