As a former Naval Medical Officer and experienced physician, Dr. Owens has cultivated exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to both his colleagues and patients.
Dr. Owens plays a pivotal role at the University of Michigan Health-West, steering the organization toward a technologically advanced future. He has been instrumental in spearheading major innovative advancements, notably the seamless integration of cutting-edge technology in healthcare settings.
As a strong proponent continuous improvement, Dr. Owens has been actively involved in strategic planning initiatives, focusing on the integration of new technologies like ambient voice recognition to revolutionize patient care and improve operational efficiency.
