Jessica Mellinger MD, MSc

Dr. Mellinger is an assistant professor in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and transplant hepatology at Michigan Medicine where her practice focuses on alcohol-related liver disease. She holds a K23 Career Development Award from the NIAAA and is currently researching novel behavioral interventions for ALD patients. Dr. Mellinger is a founder of the Michigan Alcohol Improvement Network, a collaborative of clinicians and researchers dedicated to improving how healthcare providers and systems diagnose and treat alcohol use disorder, and is the clinical director and co-founder of the MAIN multidisciplinary ALD clinic.
