Gretchen Goltz DO, BCBSM

Gretchen Goltz, D.O, CPE is a medical director with Provider Engagement at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. She is energized by change leadership and lean management which brought her to her current position with Blue Cross. She enjoys the challenge of developing ideas and processes that enhance the provider and patient experience. In her role, Dr. Goltz supports the risk-based contracted entities, offering support in identifying opportunities for performance improvement. She is also on point for multiple initiatives across the enterprise including virtual care, collaborative care, and healthy lifestyle programs. Prior to joining Blue Cross in 2020, Dr. Goltz had a fulfilling career as a family physician in the Muskegon Community for 19 years. She is married to a retired firefighter and has two grown children. She enjoys exercise, gardening, and reading.
