Donna Kennedy-Williams, MSN, MA-Bioethics, NP-BC, ACHPN, serves in the Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. Donna has been a board-certified nurse practitioner for 18 years with a background in Family Practice and specializing in Geriatric Primary Care. Working with elderly patients, guided her interest to Palliative Medicine and she obtained Advanced Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing. Donna also received her master’s degree in Bioethics and Health Policy and serves as Vice-Chair in the hospital’s Ethics committee. She frequently lectures on Palliative Medicine, Ethics, Advance Care Planning and starting difficult conversations at end-of-life.
