  • To understand the concept of using tests with the best positive and negative likelihood ratios to rule-in and rule out a disease
  • To become comfortable and with the use of the most accurate physical examination test or combination of tests to evaluate common conditions
  • To improve diagnostic skills using the bedside physical examination
